Eau Là Là” is a sensory and rhythmic exploration of the elements for very young audiences. The very young are invited to follow the adventure of a little dewdrop full of fantasy that wants to reach the ocean, and discover the water cycle through poetic tableaux. The journey begins in a Zen garden, on a tiny blade of grass in the shade of a cherry blossom tree. The little drop then takes the audience under the rain, exploring sounds and sensations, playing as children do, then along the riverbed and finally into the depths of the sea populated by graceful and mysterious creatures. Each stage of his epic is punctuated by haikus, little Japanese poems that capture the beauty of a fleeting moment with simplicity. The sound effects, rhythms and lighting totally immerse us in each scene, allowing the audience to melt into and transform themselves in the image of the drop. The set, created by Coralie Bezerra’s sewing, plunges us into a delicate world full of apparitions, manipulations and shadow play, creating a whirlwind of sensations.
Through the water cycle, told in poetic tableaux and sound effects, children see that water is everywhere, even inside us!
