Donjon, Tour des Archives, Consistoire, Capitouls… So many names, functions and stories for a single place. And you’re about to discover its secrets. That’s the challenge set by the “coméguide” for an evening (from Cie Millimétrée): to take you on a journey through 500 years of history… in just 15 minutes.
To do this, he is accompanied by a specialist who takes it in turns to play the characters mentioned in the story. Well… almost all of them. A lively, accessible story to share with the whole family, to help them better understand this iconic building in our city. It’s also an opportunity to discover some archive images to illustrate the story. Outside, to welcome and greet you, a duo of stilt-walkers add a festive touch, with historical anecdotes and architectural winks.

To keep a souvenir of the event, a collector’s poster has been created especially for the occasion! It’s on sale at the Tourist Office for €5. For €3, you can also buy a copy of the Monnaie de Paris coin specially produced for the occasion: “Donjon du Capitole 500 ans 1525-2025”.
