Stirps Jesse: The Tree of Jesse
Gregorian and medieval music

This programme is centred on the responsory ‘Stirps Jesse’, composed by Fulbert of Chartres (960–1028).

A wealth of poetry sprang from this theme during the Middle Ages.

Through this theme, we shall hear a rich array of sacred music that resounded in Notre-Dame de Paris at the time of its construction.

Tickets available at the venue one hour before the concert.
