TOULOUSE
Combining science, exploration, art and literature, the Terres d’ailleurs festival, organised by the Muséum de Toulouse and the Délires d’encre association, is an invitation to discovery for nature lovers, science enthusiasts and those simply looking for inspiration, ready to explore, learn and commit to a more sustainable future.
2025 theme: “Odyssey to the heart of the oceans”: this year’s festival will focus on maritime exploration, exploring the surface of the oceans, the abyssal depths, the coastline and the skies inhabited by seabirds. Through screenings, meetings, exhibitions and workshops, you’re invited to discover the diversity of marine worlds, which are still largely unknown, and to reflect on the ecological issues that affect them.
The festival offers a varied programme including Documentary film screenings, meetings with explorers, researchers, writers and artists, hands-on workshops, themed exhibitions, conferences and round tables. A unique opportunity to meet exceptional travellers and engage in discussions on current social issues.
