MEZE
The M%E9zois Tambourine Club invites you from October 16 to 18, 2026, to its Annual Indoor Youth Tambourine Tournament— a must-attend event of the winter tambourin season in the Hérault, organized by the French Tambourin Sports Federation (Accreditation No. N0202701). Youth teams from across the region will compete at the Bernard Jeu and Gérard Rigal gyms in Mèze, in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
Tambourin—a traditional Occitan sport
A traditional sport practiced for centuries in Occitania, tambourin is played on a 34-meter court with a ball similar to a tennis ball, which is struck using a tambourin. Mèze is one of the leading towns for tambourin in the Hérault department, with an active club and dedicated facilities— The Parking du Tambourin and the municipal gyms regularly host major competitions.
