OLONZAC
A 14.3 kilometer trail will take place in the communes of Olonzac and Argens Minervois. Start at 9 a.m. in the rose garden of the Olonzac municipal park. Runners will make their way to the oppidum of Mourrel Ferrat de Bassanel and then continue over the crests of Argens Minervois, offering breathtaking views of Lac des Aiguilles, Argens Minervois and parts of the Lézignannais and Narbonnais regions. The finish will also be in the rose garden of the Olonzac municipal park. Thirty volunteers will be on hand, along with SDIS34 services. In terms of tourism, this event will promote certain aspects of river tourism on the Canal du Midi. It will also raise runners? awareness of the archaeological work that has been and is still being carried out, as they pass by the excavation site at Mourrel Ferrat.
