CARCASSONNE
The Grand Raid des Cathares is an ultra-trail running event featuring seven different race formats, suitable for both beginners and experienced trail runners.
Created in 2015, the 12th edition of the Grand Raid des Cathares will take place on October 22, 23 and 24, 2026, starting from Carcassonne.
The Château Comtal Night Trail is limited to 500 participants. Runners will tackle an approximately 12 km course with 250 m of positive elevation gain.
This fully nocturnal trail race takes place in a natural environment, following a varied route along the Cathar trails. The race is run individually and follows the principle of semi-self-sufficiency, at a free pace and in a single stage.
