*A Scarecrow’s Love* is based on the story written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler, the famous British author duo behind numerous classics (*The Gruffalo*, *Zebulon the Dragon* and *Timioche*). Published in 2014, their picture book regains all its poetry and humour here: this faithful adaptation will appeal just as much to children discovering this story for the first time as it will to readers already captivated by their world. The programme is preceded by three whimsical short films, tailored to a child’s perspective, which set the tone before we join Betty and Harry on the farm.
