TOULOUSE
This large area, formerly known as Lespinet, was for a long time
been agricultural. The land was made up of fields where mainly cereals were grown, and the large landowners had their castles here. It wasn’t until the end of the
XIXth century that new activities began. Bellevue then became a holiday resort for secondary school students. Education developed and the University, several faculties and the Grandes Ecoles played an important role.
Organised by the association En Quête de Patrimoine, the tour will be led by historian Sonia Moussay.
