UN DIMANCHE, UN QUARTIER : SOUPETARD

TOULOUSE

Description

Formerly known as Juncasse, this very marshy area was home to a few castles and farms. Difficult to cultivate, it would seem that people dined here late! But what remains of these ancient times? We’ll also see that at the beginning of the 20th century, an architect built a school complex and a garden city here. Do you know who it was? Hint: he built the Nakache swimming pool.

Organised by the association En Quête de Patrimoine, in partnership with Espace Patrimoine. The tour is led by historian Sonia Moussay.
