TOULOUSE
The Cité de l’espace in Toulouse invites you to enjoy an immersive space experience over 1 or 2 days!
If you haven’t yet had the chance to visit the Cité de l’Espace, now’s the time to discover or rediscover (for regular visitors) the 4,000 m2 of animated exhibitions, wander through the 4 hectares of scientific gardens, get up close to life-size spacecraft (spaceships, space station, Ariane 5 rocket…), and have fun and interact during scientific workshops on current lunar and Martian missions and astronauts in space.
Experience something unique in Europe with the LuneXplorer and become an astronaut for a moment during an interactive lunar mission, discovering the sensations and challenges of a real space journey! A must-see!
You can also take advantage of the new Imax ® film “Deep Sky” to discover the adventure of the new James Webb space telescope on a giant screen, from the challenges of its construction to its magnificent new images of the farthest reaches of the Universe.
And for the little ones, there’s the Cité des petits, a link entirely dedicated to children aged 4 to 8, where they can discover space in a fun and appropriate way, in a universe dedicated to two subjects that make them dream: rockets and astronauts. Take a seat in the Stellarium to watch the film “Polaris, the space submarine and the mystery of the polar night”. All aboard for the North Pole!
Last but not least! “My first Planetarium”: a live show for children aged 4 to 7. Explore the sky, the Moon, the planets, draw constellations and admire the shooting stars in this fun and interactive initiation for the very young!
