The Tourist Office has come up with a new concept: combine business with pleasure and take advantage of your lunch break in downtown Béziers for a 30-minute tour! Bring your sandwich and join us one Monday a month for a visit to a different square, street, site or character.
In September, let us tell you the story of a monumental work of art: the Titan Fountain. The best-known work by Béziers sculptor Jean-Antoine Injalbert, it was conceived during the artist’s stay in Rome. Presented at the Salon des Artistes in Paris under the title “Titan Supporting the World”, it made Injalbert’s name before the city of Béziers commissioned it to be installed on the Plateau des Poètes.
