AGDE
Yarol Poupaud is a French guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer known for his eclecticism and creative energy.
A leading figure in the French rock scene, he first made his mark as a founding member of the band FFF, pioneers of French funk rock in the 1990s.
With his instinctive guitar playing and keen sense of rhythm, he has forged a distinctive sound at the crossroads of rock, funk and soul.
Yarol has gained a wealth of experience and made countless connections, from the alternative scene to major mainstream tours. Notably, he accompanied Niagara in the 1990s and Johnny Hallyday for several years, as a guitarist, musical director and stage partner.
Passionate about the diversity of sounds and cultures, he has also collaborated with numerous African, Indian and Jamaican musicians, incorporating influences from reggae,
afrobeat and blues into his musical world. He has also worked on numerous film soundtracks, earning a César nomination in 2010 for the film *Bus Palladium*.
