L’Ecureuil is a charming furnished flat on the first floor of a fully renovated barn. Set in an old farmhouse, you’re in the heart of a peaceful Lauragais village, just 1 km from the Canal du Midi.
This pleasant T3 is adjoining the owners’ house but is completely independent thanks to its private entrance and private landscaped garden.
The separate entrance has a washing machine and you can access the first floor via the staircase. Upstairs, you’ll find the whole flat, with a large living area with a sofa bed, a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen, a bathroom with shower and the 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed and the other two single beds.
When the weather is fine, there is an outdoor area where you can enjoy the garden with a barbecue and garden furniture.
You’ll be able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding countryside, while still being close to major towns to visit (Toulouse 20 minutes away and Carcassonne 45 minutes). You can go for walks in the Lauragais forest, just 500 m from the accommodation, or for a refreshing dip in the Thésauque lake in Nailloux (10 minutes away) or the Ganguise lake (20 minutes away).
Please note that the staircase to the first floor is a little steep, but is equipped with a safety barrier.
