SOREZE
LA CHÊNAIE DU LAC is a small, atypical complex of 3 gîtes, set in 4 hectares of parkland in the foothills of the Montagne Noire, in the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut Languedoc. The large swimming pool (15x5m), shared with the other 2 gîtes, has several areas for relaxing: a large paved solarium, a wooden deck and a shaded lawned area; it is heated and covered depending on the weather from April to December. A trampoline, a zip line, swings, a petanque area and a table tennis table delight young and old alike. Lake Saint Ferréol is 100 m away (just 5 minutes’ walk). We have a breathtaking view of the Montagne Noire and the plain from Sorèze to Mazamet (visibility over 20 km).
CHÊNE, a 4-star gîte, is ideal for two couples or a couple with children/teenagers. This single-storey gîte, located on the ground floor of a wooden chalet, has a spacious living area (air-conditioned) including a dining area, a large fully-equipped kitchen and a lounge with a bay window opening onto a flower-filled, landscaped terrace. The gîte also has 2 modular bedrooms, 1 shower room (with a large walk-in shower) and 2 WCs.
Beds are made on arrival and all household linen is provided (bath towels, tea towels, tablecloths, napkins and foutas for drying off after a swim). The equipment and decoration are personalised to suit the profile of the guests (childcare equipment, linen, board games, toys, books, etc.).
Val and Phil also offer to pick up your groceries from the REVEL supermarket click & collect the day before your arrival and store your groceries in the fridge and cupboards before your arrival (at no extra charge).
The Saint Ferréol lake is 100 m away (just a 5-minute walk). Its nautical centre offers a wide range of (non-motorised) water sports such as pedalos, paddles, kayaks, windsurfing boards, etc.; bike hire is also available. Restaurants, ice-cream parlours and bars are just a 5-minute walk away!
Pets: dogs are welcome with the prior agreement of the owners; a small supplement of €60/stay (whatever the length of stay) will be charged.
