SOREZE
La chênaie du Lac is a small, atypical complex of 3 gîtes, situated in the foothills of the Montagne Noire, with the Saint Ferréol lake just 100 m away (just a 5-minute walk). Its water sports centre offers a wide range of water sports activities (non-motorised). Restaurants, ice-cream parlours and bars are just a 5-minute walk away, but we enjoy all the benefits without the nuisance! Our landscaped grounds of 1.5 hectares, mainly oak trees, are part of the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut Languedoc. We have an uninterrupted view of the Montagne Noire and the plain from Sorèze to Mazamet (visibility of more than 20 km).
Our large swimming pool (15x5m) is heated and covered (but can be uncovered) and has a large solarium. We’ve had a REAL petanque pitch made, half in the shade, half in the sun, flanked by a picnic table where you can sip your favourite drink. Hammocks are set up in the oak grove depending on the weather (but it’s almost always sunny at Saint Fé!).
Five fig trees, the namesake of the gîte, stand below the breathtaking view from the terrace. In the distance, the Montagne Noire rises proudly.
Figuier is open to nature. Its design theme is turquoise: we lived in Bora Bora for 5 years and this lagoon colour is very close to our hearts. Lake Saint-Ferréol, a little less exotic but very pleasant all in all, is just 100 m from the gîte.
This accommodation is ideal for two couples or a couple with children/young people, like Chêne. This duplex gîte has a terrace with direct access to the swimming pool.
