SOREZE
La Chênaie du Lac is a small, atypical complex of gîtes, located in the foothills of the Montagne Noire, with Saint-Ferréol lake just 100 m away (a 5-minute walk). Its leisure centre offers a wide range of water sports (non-motorised). There are restaurants, ice-cream parlours and bars within a 5-minute walk. We enjoy all the benefits without the nuisance! Our landscaped grounds of 1.5 hectares, mainly oak trees, are part of Parc Naturel Régional du Haut Languedoc. We have an uninterrupted view of the Montagne Noire and the plain from Sorèze to Mazamet (visibility of more than 20 km).
Our large swimming pool (15x5m) is heated and covered (but can be uncovered) and has a large solarium. We’ve had a REAL petanque pitch made, half in the shade, half in the sun, flanked by a picnic table where you can sip your favourite drink. Hammocks are set up in the oak grove depending on the weather (but it’s almost always sunny at Saint Fé!).
Our Chêne gîte is ideal for a family with children or 2 couples. It’s all on one level, with its own flower-filled terrace, barbecue and garden table.
– living room with corner sofa and 2 armchairs, dining area and fully-equipped open kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, induction hob, small appliances: toaster, nespresso and piston coffee makers, kettle, food processors),
– a bedroom with a 160×200 bed, large dressing area, TV and a large bay window giving access to the terrace,
– a bedroom with 2 single beds (80x190cm) that can be used as twin beds or as a single bed (160cm) (with mattress topper), large dressing room,
– a shower room with walk-in shower and wc,
– laundry room and dressing room (with washing machine),
– separate wc.
The swimming pool, boules pitch, play area (swing and table tennis) and hammock area are shared with guests staying in the Mélèze gîte.
Bed linen and towels are provided, as is a cleaning service at the end of your stay.
Pets: only dogs are allowed (no cats), with supplement, subject to conditions. 50€/stay, whatever the length of stay.
