SOREZE
La chênaie du Lac is a small, atypical complex of 3 gîtes, situated in the foothills of the Montagne Noire, with the Saint Ferréol lake just 100 m away (just a 5-minute walk). Its water sports centre offers a wide range of water sports activities (non-motorised). Restaurants, ice-cream parlours and bars are just a 5-minute walk away, but we enjoy all the benefits without the nuisance! Our landscaped grounds of 1.5 hectares, mainly oak trees, are part of the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut Languedoc. We have an uninterrupted view of the Montagne Noire and the plain from Sorèze to Mazamet (visibility of more than 20 km).
Our large swimming pool (15x5m) is heated and covered (but can be uncovered) and has a large solarium. We’ve had a REAL petanque pitch made, half in the shade, half in the sun, flanked by a picnic table where you can sip your favourite drink. Hammocks are set up in the oak grove, depending on the weather (but it’s almost always sunny at Saint Fé!).
Our Mélèze gîte is ideal for a family with children or teenagers (we change the decor and games in the children’s room according to the age of our young guests). It is on one level, above the Chêne gîte, with a large private terrace planted with flowers, a barbecue and a garden table.
Our Mélèze gîte :
– living room with 3-seater sofa and 2 armchairs, dining area, fully-equipped open kitchen (dishwasher, multifunction oven, fridge-freezer, 4-burner hob, small appliances: toaster, nespresso and filter coffee makers, kettle, food processors),
– a parents’ bedroom with a 160×200 bed,
– a bedroom for younger guests with two 90×190 bunk beds,
– a brand-new bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet,
– a laundry room with a washing machine, with access to our tumble dryer if required, and a separate toilet.
To be shared with holidaymakers in the Chêne gîte: a heated indoor swimming pool that can be uncovered, a REAL petanque pitch, a play area (swing and table tennis) and a hammock area.
Bed linen and towels provided, end-of-stay cleaning service included
Pets: only dogs are allowed (no cats), with supplement, subject to conditions. 50€/stay, whatever the length of stay.
