A place steeped in history, an idyllic setting, a region to explore without moderation… Welcome to La Ralle, the gîte that brings people together, rests and delights in Donneville, just 1 km from the shady banks of the legendary Canal du Midi and 30 km from vibrant Toulouse.
You’ll be staying in an old farmhouse typical of south-east Toulouse. Here, in the past, the owner’s family dried wheat and processed pigs, perpetuating the ancestral gestures of a rich and authentic agricultural life. Today, this detached property, with its vast private garden, lends itself wonderfully to get-togethers with friends or family. Named “La Ralle”, in homage to the gathering place in Roman times, this gîte is ideal for two families who want to get together in a peaceful village with all the necessary amenities.
“La Ralle is much more than just a gîte: it’s a real cocoon for those who want to combine tranquillity, culture and leisure. 1km from the Canal du Midi, a UNESCO World Heritage site, 30 minutes from Toulouse city centre, the ‘Ville Rose’, a few kilometres from Revel and Lake Saint-Ferréol, Villefranche-de-Lauragais, Lake Thésauque in Nailloux and its water sports centre, 1 hour from Foix, Carcassonne, Montauban and Albi….
The gîte is harmoniously laid out over two levels, offering comfort and convivial communal areas:
-Ground floor: entrance, kitchen/dining room, 2 bedrooms (2 twin beds 80*200cm, TV, private shower room)(1 double bed 160*200cm, you will have to go to the other bedroom on the ground floor to shower).
– On the first floor: a huge lounge, a place for sharing and relaxing, with comfortable sofas, a reading corner, board games and table football; and a dormitory (1 double bed 140*190cm, 3 single beds 90*190cm and a private shower room). No heating in the kitchen or living room.
To make the most of the lush outdoor setting, you’ll find:
