MONTLAUR
In the shade of the plane trees, in the garden or along the Canal du Midi, come and explore our beautiful region, the Lauragais, a little Tuscany.
In the old wine storehouse of a typical Lauragais farm in the south-east of Toulouse (Toulouse 25km away, 2km from the Canal du Midi), renovated in pink bricks and Garonne pebbles, very pleasant, quiet, a large plane tree is the delight of our accommodation. Our gîte is adjoining our house. Our son has paintball on site (booking required) and also an escape game 5km away. Lac de la Thésauque 15kms away and Etang de l’Orme Blanc 20km (water sports centre, swimming, beach…).
Ground floor: fitted kitchen (renovated in March 2022)/dining area, lounge, shower room/WC. First floor: bedroom (1 x 140cm double bed). Mezzanine on the second floor under the eaves accessed by a ladder (2 single beds 90cm). Electric heating, reversible air conditioning in bedrooms. Outside: garden, dining area under a huge plane tree. Table tennis. Reserved parking. Railway line 200m away. Tumble dryer available on request.
TELETRAVAIL: a desk, a comfortable chair and a lamp are provided (close to an electrical socket for plugging in a laptop, extension lead and power strip on request). Broadband internet connection (wifi and RJ45 cable). 4G telephone coverage (operator: SFR).
SANS-VOITURE: from Toulouse-Matabiau train station, you can get to the gîte, as Montlaur station is a 5-minute walk away! (Toulouse-Carcassonne train line).
