We’re two lovers of unspoilt nature and beauty, José a writer and essayist, Sylvie a painter, decorator and illustrator of José’s books. We offer you an exceptional stay in the heart of the Natura 2000 protected site of La Gardiole, a low-lying mountain nestled between Sète and Montpellier; you’re just a stone’s throw from amenities and shops, close to the seaside resort and beaches of Balaruc les bains; the site is easily and quickly accessible by freeway. At the same time, you’re surrounded by oak, pine and fruit trees, and a garrigue rich in scents and colors; many varieties of birds, some from Africa, have made this little paradise their home, and their songs, along with the ballet of squirrels, will lull you to sleep. There are many superb and inexhaustible walks to be made in the Gardiole, but also around the nearby Etang de Thau, and on the Mediterranean shore (Sète and its beaches). Our house is set in 3500 m2 of parkland; you will occupy a beautifully appointed, totally independent, single-storey apartment of around 130 m2, opening directly onto nature, with a vast view of the surrounding Villeveyrac mountains. The apartment comprises 3 spacious double bedrooms, a large living room-dining room-kitchen, and a library-office; you open directly onto a large garden, where you enjoy a terrace with outdoor kitchen and plancha. House T4 with possibility of renting as T3.
