This large house has been lovingly restored using natural materials (wood and lime) while respecting its heritage features (exposed roof timbers in the tower, monumental Renaissance fireplaces). The gîte has its own private saltwater swimming pool (11x4m) protected by a wrought-iron fence. Large private garden.
The gîte is located in the Lauragais region, which has plenty to offer: walks along the Canal du Midi, bike hire, lakeside walks, visits to typical villages such as Montgeard…
House for 12 people with 5 bedrooms on 3 levels:
– Ground floor: entrance hall, kitchen (large family dining table), dining room, storeroom/laundry room, living room heated by a wood-burning stove with breakfast/hot drinks area, WC.
– First floor, accessible from the living room: dormitory (4 single beds 90x200cm with shower room/WC).
– Accessible via the main staircase from the entrance hall: large living room (fireplace), 4 bedrooms (1 x 160cm double bed in the tower) (1 x 160cm double bed) (1 x 160cm double bed) (2 x 90cm single beds), bathroom, WC.
– Second floor under slope: children’s play area, bathroom.
Oil-fired central heating (except for dormitory with electric heating). Unlimited telephone calls to European landlines. Partial rental of the gîte available on request. Pets allowed under certain conditions: not allowed on the first floor (white sofas) or in the fenced-in pool area.
Special offer in June and September: High Season rate of €1000/week. Beds made on arrival.
