Description

An archaeological site classified as a National Monument and a member of the Sites d’Exception en Languedoc network. One of the most important Gallic villages in the southern Mediterranean. Its museum presents an exceptional collection of objects discovered during excavations. The artefacts are displayed in three main areas named after the archaeologists who left their mark on Ensérune (Salle Sigal, Salle Mouret, Salle Jannoray). The site was marked by multiple influences (Iberian, Celtic, Greek, Italic).
