In 1962, Henri Gineste de Saurs opened “L’Entrecôte” in Toulouse, a restaurant modeled on “Le Relais de Venise – Son entrecôte” created a few years earlier by his father in Paris.
Since this date, the black and yellow brand has developed in Bordeaux, Nantes, Montpellier, Lyon and Toulouse with its waitresses traditionally dressed in yellow and black in a Scottish wall decor.

We come to appreciate the unique formula unchanged for more than 50 years: salad with walnuts, finely cut sirloin steak (170 gram slice of beef) accompanied by its famous sauce with a composition kept secret, homemade fries as desired, for finish with a dessert created by our pastry chefs.
